The purpose of this blog is to share my experiences as a Peace Corps volunteer in Mauritania, West Africa. I will depart on June 18th of 2008 and will serve for 27 months.
So i wanted to check and see if you wrote anything since you told your friends and family that you were leaving. I found you posted a picture of trash.... and a link to a facebook site.... Diego.
Needless to say, I'm not surprised. I will factor in that you are in a super bruce-y site, but still. Trash picture and "I am leaving for Mauritania?" (shakes head).
Well, hopefully you read this and become inspired to post a story about your time here, but in reality I know this comment will go in one ear and out the other. as usual.
